With nearly 100g/l of sugar, the 2021 white Tokaj Late Harvest is a sweet wine that remains fresh and airy, highly indulgent! Its delicious floral notes, ripe apricot, orange zest, pineapple, and candied lemon find a marvelous echo on the palate, complemented by touches of lychee and orange blossom. Offering delicate sweetness and lively vivacity, all in balance, this wine presents a wide array of pairing possibilities; it's a wonder with Fourme d'Ambert cheese, pan-seared scallops, or a citrus salad.

The Alvarez family, owners of the legendary Vega Sicilia, acquired this mythical estate in 1993 in Tolcsva, Hungary. Set on a unique site atop a massive underground labyrinth dating back to the 13th century, Tokaji has been produced here since 1620. In 1772, during the first classification of Tokaji wines, the wine was recognized as a 1st Cru ("primae classis"). The 115 hectares planted with Furmint, Hárslevelű, Zéta, and Sárgamuskotály are spread across three steep hills in the heart of the Tokaj-Hegyalja appellation and give rise to a complete and sought-after range.
